Online School Bookkeeping and Immigration

Hey everyone, I finally completed my immigration to Canada. It was along process taking about 6 years in total. I found the immigration test in Canada particularly difficult. I actually thought I was going to fail the test but somehow I skated by.

Having completed my immigration to Canada I thought it was time to put some of my skills to use, my background is in Analytic and finance, so I've decided to start up a little non-profit that will offer free financial and bookkeeping advice to Canadian immigrants. My friend has experience in payroll services so he will be hepling with payroll services and for now we have decided to call our site Culture Canada

One of the most difficult things for me moving into the Canada was continuing my education, my spoken English is not great, my written English is getting much better. Blogging is really helping me get the hang of it. I actually spoke Spanish my entire life until I was 19 years old. I did some English writing in School but not too much.

I have personally found that online classes from a virtual school are really helpful and I dont need to join a public class with mainly English speaking people. The online school allows me to do the work at my pace and when I struggle with the English it's no big deal, I'm not holding up the class.

I've taken my high school equivalency test here in Canada and I'm planning to take some more grade 10-12 classes online. I think it's just a different style of education in Canada and I want to integrate with the culture here as much as possible.
